Chinese Agarwood (Oud) can be divided into Chinese planted agarwood and wild agarwood. There are 8 different production techniques for Chinese agarwood, such as hooking, silk, slices, materials, dices, and scraping. Customers need to decide whether to buy planted agarwood or wild agarwood according to their actual use, and which production technique to purchase.

Production Process and Usage (Chinese Way)
Gou Si
(Removing excess white wood)
Production Process:
The collected agarwood blocks containing agarwood are finely processed, and the excess white wood wrapped on the surface of the agarwood knot is removed using a special hooking tool. The obtained agarwood embryo is further cut into the finished agarwood product. In order to retain the quality of the finished agarwood as much as possible, a special sharp small iron hook is used to hook off the excess white wood near the junction of the white wood and the agarwood oil layer.
